- Rinse & Soak:
Wash rice and dal. Soa for 15 minutes. - Prepare Base:
In pressure cooker, heat ghee. Add cumin, bay leaf, hing. Sauté lightly. - Add Everything:
Add soaked dal-rice, turmeric, salt, chopped vegetables (optional), water. Pressure cook for 2 whistles. - Final Touch:
Open, mix well, add garam masala, garnish with coriander. Serve hot with curd or pickle.
